Over 30 years ago, three unemployed Ukiahans borrowed $30,000 from their parents and started Ukiah Paper Supply. They soon learned the paper business eats things. It ate a home equity loan, then it ate the home. It ate jewelry, vacation property and eventually an entire 3-bedroom trailer. Then it ate another one.
